Kaspersky Lab sponsors the expedition!
On Tuesday the expedition was relaunched as the Kaspersky Commonwealth Antarctic Expedition to announce the sponsorship of the project by Internet security specialists, Kaspersky Lab. The announcement was made at an impressive media event held in the National Geographic store in Singapore. Expedition leader, Felicity Aston, attended the event along with team members Reena Dharmshaktu (India); Stephanie Solomonides (Cyprus); Era Al Sufri (Brunei); and Sophia Pang (Singapore).
During the event, Managing Director of Kaspersky Labs Asia, Mr Harry Cheung, symbolically signed the flag that the expedition team will fly at the South Pole [pictured]. Harry, along with the rest of the Kaspersky Lab team, are now considered part of the family and the expedition is thrilled to have such wonderful support behind them.
