The expedition team thanks Singapore's President Nathan and Lee Foundation for their support!
The expedition team would like to express its thanks to President Nathan for his personal support to the expedition, and to the Lee Foundation.
During a dinner event yesterday (5-Oct) hosted by Dr Lee Seng Tee from the Lee Foundation, Dr Lee presented a cheque to Sophia Pang, the Singapore team member and wished her success in the Antarctica expedition. Present at the dinner were President Nathan and Mrs Nathan, who also gave words of encouragement to Sophia to aim for the goal. In appreciation to the support, Sophia presented a collection of photos showing the expedition events to President Nathan, Dr Lee Seng Tee (Lee Foundation) and Professor Su Guaning (Nanyang Technological University).
