Era's PodCast in writing:
"Hi everyone, it's Era and I'm calling from our resupply point at Thiels.
We have a lovely view of the Thiel Mountains right now and it's been an exciting day. We had a plane and it actually came to land this time. Last time we heard a plane it didn't land but this time it actually landed, so the plane came in and took all our rubbish and poo back.
They also brought us goodies so we got some brownies and some carrot cake and some lemon meringues cake so thank you to those people that gave us the carrot cake and the brownies. I think it was Kylie's niece and nephew who gave us the lemon meringues fudge. Oh it was lovely. Very sweet.
Now we are enjoying the goodies we left in the resupply. We've brought in cheese, we thought we put some tuna in, but it has not surfaced. I think someone stole it. Yes sneaked it out, oh well. But we've got cake and Dorito's as well.
So right now we're having our kind of evening party. But we've got the two tent groups in one tent and we passed 85 degrees yesterday so we've got a lot to celebrate. Reaching resupply, passing through the crevasse fields, reaching 85 degrees, getting our charges, because before we using some make-through chargers but now we have the actual chargers for our cameras and video cameras.
Me and Steph have had a some dinner for our lunch. We had hot chicken tikka and hot lamb for our lunch. We had a talk with Dr John about some of our niggles and naggles, some aches and blisters. My ankles have both of them have got a bit of a sprain, so that's a bit worrying..."
